about
All proceeds from this track will be matched and donated to NorCal Resist's Activist Bail & ICE Bond Fund, for as long as we see fit.
I don't feel comfortable going into the details of what this song is about, because it's really not relevant to current events, but I will say that, lyrically, it is a sequel of sorts to my solo track, Over Your Head. Also, we recorded this about a year ago or so, way before the pandemic started. Eventually, we will re-record this, along with the rest of our songs, and release an EP.
Stay safe out there. Black lives matter.

lyrics
You tried to push me out
Because I spoke my mind
You might've heard me out before
But the terms weren't mine
And now we're at a standstill
And who's to draw the line?
I never tried to start a fight
I guess the pleasure's mine
But was it ever over your head
Blissful ignorance the whole time
It's like we're back in high school again
Wasting our whole damn lives
The same cycles repeated again
It's so plain to see
Yet I'm the only one to see them
And it's too much for me
But was it ever over your head
Blissful ignorance the whole time
It's like we're back in high school again
Fucking up our whole lives
But was it ever over your head
Blissful ignorance the whole time
It's like we're back in high school again
Trauma throughout our lives
Don't stop here now, don't let it go
How are we to live without damage control?
Don't stop here now, don't let it go
How are we to live without damage control?
Don't stop here now, don't let it go
How are we to live without damage control?
Don't stop here now, don't let it go
How are we to live, oh, how are we to live?
